Your Best Life Is Hidden In Your Hobby.

If you have read my book, Do Yourself a favor. Get Up! and Move!, you’d have learned that every human being is born, unquestionably, with a gift. My book also shows you how to identify, develop, overcome inevitable life hurdles and start using your talents successfully to bless the world and access your financial destiny. It shows you how to turn a hobby into a multi-million $ business.

Many people have contacted me to oppose my claim that you can indeed turn your hobby into a multi-million dollar business. I understand their perspective.

While my claim may sound too good to be true, I still maintain that it is true. Someone may argue that it is easier and logical to get a college degree and a good job. And I agree. There is absolutely nothing wrong with getting a college degree and a good job. Taking up a hobby as an activity to turn it into an income source is a quantum leap into the unknown that you would rather avoid. And I also get that.

Let us look at examples of people gifted in the arts or sports – fine artists, sculptors, car racing, basketball, soccer, boxing, songwriter, and so on. Let us take the example of the NBA. Most of those basketball stars are graduates, meaning they have degrees from a university; they qualify for good jobs. But, they deliberately and consciously choose the path of their hobby – playing basketball. They develop that hobby to a level of excellence that it becomes an income-generating activity. They can always get jobs and work for 40 years then retire, instead of developing their hobby into a career and a multi-million business in a few years. See that?

So, it all comes down to this. You have a gift, and that gift is what you refer to as your hobby. You see it as a hobby simply because that hobby comes easy to you; you perform that activity with the least amount of resistance. You enjoy performing it. Then, that makes you ignore it. The Almighty Creator gave you the ability to perform your hobby with ease. And, most of all, your wealth is tied to your gift, disguised as a hobby.

Hence it is possible to turn your hobby into a multi-million dollar business. It is indeed easier to make money from your hobby than you would from a job; you’re not going to make multi-millions from a salary! Get my point? And, I am not saying that earning wages is wrong. I suggest you use your salary to invest in your hobby that is usually a manifestation of your gift. It all depends on your level of faith (Hebrews 11:1). Proverbs 18:16 tells you that your gift, wrapped in your hobby, will make room for you and take you places you could never imagine.

What are you going to do?
